Getting Started

What is Solvea and how does it work? +
Solvea gives small teams a second number for customer calls and texts. When you are busy or closed, AI can answer, collect what the caller needs, and turn the call into a summary, transcript, and next step in the same inbox on mobile and PC.
How long does setup take? +
Most users can set up the basics in a few minutes: create an account, choose a second number, choose how the AI receptionist should greet callers, and test one customer call. PC Desk setup for teams takes a few more minutes for owners, statuses, notes, and shared inbox access.
Do I need any hardware or special equipment? +
No. Solvea is entirely software. You can follow up from your phone and use PC Desk in any modern browser. No SIM cards, desk phones, or hardware setup are required.
Is there a free trial? +
The current PC Stripe catalog does not list a trial period. PC Pro Helpdesk billing is $19.90 per seat per month, with 500 monthly credits per seat. App Store offers may differ from PC billing.
What platforms does Solvea support? +
Solvea works across mobile and PC:
  • Mobile — review call summaries, transcripts, and follow-ups from your phone
  • PC Desk — use the shared inbox, customer profiles, owners, notes, and statuses from a browser
Both stay synced to the same customer history.

AI Answering

How does AI answering work? +
You choose the basics the AI receptionist should know: your business name, services, hours, information to collect, and when to hand off to a human. When you miss a call or are closed, AI can greet callers, ask what they need, capture details, and prepare the next step.
What happens when I miss a call? +
Solvea can answer first, collect caller intent, appointment requests, service questions, urgency, and contact details. After the call, your team gets the recording, transcript, summary, and suggested next step in the customer thread.
Are call summaries and transcripts available on all plans? +
Yes. Pro Helpdesk includes call summaries, transcripts, PC Desk, shared inbox, owners, statuses, customer history, and team visibility.
Can I adjust the AI receptionist later? +
Yes. You can update AI answering rules as your business changes, including business hours, services, information to collect, handoff rules, and how follow-up should be prepared for your team.
Can Solvea help with multilingual calls? +
Yes. Live translation helps AI or your team handle multilingual calls in 70+ languages, with summaries and transcripts your team can review later.

Virtual Numbers

Which countries are supported for second numbers? +
Solvea supports second numbers in 30+ countries including:
  • North America: US, Canada, Mexico
  • Europe: UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, and more
  • Asia-Pacific: Japan, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, India, South Korea
  • Latin America: Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile
  • Middle East: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Israel

Can I port my existing number to Solvea? +
Number porting availability depends on region and account status. Contact support@solvea.cx before relying on porting for a launch plan.
Can I have multiple numbers on one account? +
PC Pro Helpdesk includes one shared business number. Concurrent call capacity follows paid seat quantity, so a 3-seat subscription supports 3 concurrent lines.

Live Translation

How does live call translation work? +
During a call, Solvea's AI listens to both sides in real time. It detects the caller's language automatically and translates their speech to your language (and vice versa) with under 500ms delay. You hear the translated audio in your ear; the caller hears the translated audio in theirs. No setup or language selection needed — it's fully automatic.
Which languages are supported for live translation? +
Solvea supports live translation in 70+ languages including English, Spanish, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Portuguese, Arabic, Hindi, Italian, Russian, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Vietnamese, Thai, and many more. The full list is available in the app under Settings → Translation.
Does live translation work when AI is answering, or only when I'm on the call? +
Both. AI can use translation while answering missed calls, and your team can use live translation during human conversations. The summary and transcript stay attached to the customer thread.

PC Desk

How do owners, statuses, and internal notes help? +
Owners, statuses, and internal notes make follow-up visible. When a customer calls or texts, the next teammate can see what happened, who owns it, what is open, and what should happen next.
How do appointment requests and next steps work? +
When a caller asks for an appointment or service help, AI can capture the request, urgency, contact details, and suggested next action. PC Desk keeps that next step in the customer thread so your team can call back or assign the work.
Does PC Desk require installation? +
No. PC Desk is a web app at desk.solvea.cx. It works in any modern browser on Mac, Windows, or Linux. No download, no install, no IT required. You can also add it to your desktop as a PWA (Progressive Web App) for a native-like experience.
Can I manage multiple client accounts from one PC Desk login? +
PC Pro Helpdesk is billed by seat. PC Desk keeps team members, inbox history, AI configuration, and reports organized in one workspace.

Pricing & Billing

Are there any per-minute fees? +
Solvea uses monthly usage credits instead of old AI-minute bundles. Each PC Pro Helpdesk seat includes 500 monthly credits. AI answering, human pickup, SMS, translation, and transfers draw from that pool.
Can I cancel anytime? +
Yes. Cancel anytime from your account settings. No cancellation fees. Your account remains active until the end of your current billing period. Your number and data are retained for 30 days after cancellation in case you want to reactivate.
Do you offer annual billing discounts? +
PC Stripe billing currently lists monthly Pro Helpdesk only: $19.90 per seat per month. Annual PC billing is not listed in the current branch.

Privacy & Security

Is my AI answering data secure? +
Yes. Your voice model is encrypted at rest and in transit. It's stored in isolated, access-controlled storage. Only your account can use your voice model — it's never shared, sold, or used to train other models. You can delete your voice model at any time from Settings → AI Answering → Delete.
Are call recordings stored? Who can access them? +
Call recordings and transcripts are stored in your account and accessible only to you and your team members. They're encrypted at rest. You can delete individual recordings or all recordings at any time. Solvea staff cannot access your call content without your explicit permission (e.g., for support purposes).
Is Solvea GDPR and CCPA compliant? +
Yes. Solvea is compliant with GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and PIPEDA (Canada). We offer data processing agreements (DPAs) for business customers. EU customers' data is processed and stored in EU data centers. Contact privacy@solvea.cx for DPA requests or privacy inquiries.
Do I need to disclose to callers that AI is answering? +
Disclosure requirements vary by jurisdiction. In the US, most states don't require disclosure for AI answering services. In the EU, disclosure is generally recommended. We recommend consulting local regulations for your specific use case. Solvea provides optional disclosure prompts you can enable in Settings → AI Answering → Disclosure.
